Me: Hey Brewster, who am I?
Ali: Tori
Me: Just Tori?
Ali: Just Tori
Me: Okay, Brewster. 
Ali: Okay, Puckyhock. 
Me: What are we watching?
Ali: Turtles. 
Me: Oh, okay. 
Ali: Why is that guy dressed like a Spooky?

Me: Why are your dressed like a spooky?
Ali: I'm nooooot!
Me: I'm just joking, Brewster. 
Ali: I don't like you anymore, go to you room!

A Certain Peace (You Still With Me) - A Poem

Okay, I admit I'm starting this late. I was supposed to start this LAST Thursday but, I'm lazy. I promise I'm staying on top of this.

The whole purpose of this is so that I do one post everyday. It can be a poem, story, or just a blog. I just have to post everyday

A Certain Peace (You Still With Me) - A Poem

There's an empty can of sunscreen

and a two bottles of orange gatorade

sitting in my front seat.

the same mix cd is in the player.

just like the last time you were sitting here with me

There's a certain peace in driving like this

down all these dirt roads

music turned up as loud as I can stand it

and all my windows down.

there's a song on this cd that reminds me

of you more than any song only because it says

'they say that love is forever

your forever is all that I need'

you told me we'd be friends forever

doesn't it suck that forever was cut so short

and I ask everyday why you were taken from me

to be an angel at eighteen

what if you'd turned the other way?

what if you'd left ten minutes later?

what if I'd convinced you stay the night with me?

it's been six months since you left me here

I haven't been to your grave since

there's something about it that doesn't seem real

I like to think it's because you're still here with me

there's a certain peace of this

driving down these dirt roads

with the same mix cd in the player as loud as it'll go

and all my windows down

there's a certain peace of this,

with my empty can of sunscreen

and two bottles of orange gatorade

in my front seat.

because I feel like there's

a very slim chance of you still

riding my passenger's seat

singing along to our song with your feet on my dash

and a cigarette in one hand.

this dirt road ends at the creek

though not many know this.

two miles west and we're at your grandpa's farm

and if you go five miles east, you're at the high school.

but when I'm here,

there's a certain peace of knowing

I can still see you

still standing on the shore with nothing on

but your cut off jeans and

old t-shirt of that pop punk

band you loved so much.

there's you

sitting on my hood on an autumn day

trying to get me to kiss you.

there's you

climbing that old oak

and hanging upside down

there's you

playing your guitar

telling me how someday,

you were going to play on warped tour

with all your favorite bands

but then again,

there's a certain peace of this.

because even though you're gone

you're still with me as

I drive down these dirt roads

with your cd in the player as loud as I can stand it

and all my windows down

Chicken Bacon Alfredo

Ingredients:

• Two (2) cans of chunk chicken breast, drained
• One (1) box of pasta, or make your own
• 5-10 pieces of bacon, cut (about a half cup)
• 1 jar of alfredo sauce

Follow cooking instructions on box (or bag) of pasta. Once cooked, set aside and mix cut up bacon (we used pre-cooked bacon from aldi) and chicken (we used aldi brand) in a bowl. Put alfredo sauce on noodles (we used one jar, but depending on if you want more sauce or not, you can use two). Mix in chicken and bacon and enjoy!

Feeds: 6-8 people. 

(Mine fed a family of four with larger portions plus leftovers)

HERBAL ESSENCES ANTI-FRIZZ CREME

I've used this for probably six months, I'm not gonna lie. It does wonders on my hair! I just add it to my hair after a shower and my hair doesn't frizz. Woo-hoo!

COVERGIRL COMPRESSED POWER FOUNDATION FOR OIL CONTROL

I have oily skin and this works wonders on my face. It takes away the blotchiness of my face and helps me work presentable. I got it for free when I went to get my prom dress and it's lasted since probably June. I would buy this again!!! 

DEEP SEA COSMETICS: HAND AND BODY LOTION - CORAL.

I am absolutely in love with this lotion! For the past month my hands have been peeling like crazy! I used this lotion for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I saw improvement immediately, which is insane because I used Suave Advanced Therapy since my freshman year of high school. It smells amazing too! I would totally buy it again.  

SWEET KISSES PERFUME

As you can see, this is just a knock-off of Heavenly Kiss by VS, but I personally think it smells better. I used for my last three years of high school, but the store I buy it from (DEB) doesn't sell it anymore, so if you know any place to get! Please comment and tell me. I use it every day and it's amazing. I'd love to buy it again. 

SUAVE ROSEMARY MINT SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

This stuff works amazing on my hair. I've tried other things from Suave that didn't work very well so I was hesitant to buy this shampoo and conditioner, but someone talked me into it and I'm glad I did! It's been great, I'm totally gonna buy again.
